This certificate builds on the single-engine certified flight instructor and the instrument flight rules certified flight instructor certifications, and will allow you to teach others how to fly a multi-engine airplane safely

You’ll learn how to teach characteristics of multi-engine airplanes, aircraft performance, single engine aerodynamics, and emergency procedures.

Typical Timelines

Before beginning this certification, you will have completed the instrument flight rules certified flight instructor certification. By the time you complete this training, you will typically have accrued an additional 15 hours of flight time over the span of 2 weeks.
