Each pilot is assigned a dedicated instructor who tailors the course to your schedule and learning pace. Before training begins, we conduct a pre-course interview to customize the program to your individual needs.

What You Need Before Starting
- Private Pilot Certificate
- Completed FAA Written Test (IRA)
- At least 30 hours of Cross Country Pilot in Command logged
- At least 20 hours of simulated or actual instrument time logged
- Medical Third Class or higher

This course is designed to be completed in 7 days, with the checkride scheduled on the 8th day. Below is a typical budget breakdown:
- 20 hrs ground instruction @ $58/hr: $1,160
- 20 hrs dual instruction @ $255/hr: $5,100
- FAA Checkride Fee: $800

How is each day structured?

- Piper Arrow II (GTN 750, GI275 Attitude Indicator & HSI) – $255/hr
How soon can I schedule my checkride?
We work with local examiners to ensure checkrides are scheduled in advance. Typically, your course start date is planned 7 days before your scheduled checkride.
What if my checkride is delayed?
We plan training to align with checkride availability. However, if delays occur due to weather or scheduling conflicts, we will work to reschedule it as soon as possible.
What if I need extra training time?
Some students may require additional training beyond the 7-day course. Additional flight and ground instruction can be scheduled at the standard hourly rate.

We can recommend hotels, Airbnbs, and transportation options based on your budget and preferences.
What if I don’t pass my checkride?
If a retest is needed, we will provide additional training to ensure you are fully prepared before your next attempt.
